This proposal written by Dr. Mamie Smith, is an expression of over fifty years of experiences gained from five religions: Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Baha’i and Christian Science. Each study and practice contributed to her understanding and demonstration today. Over the years, she has written numerous articles, books and eBooks, not only to share, but to gain a greater knowledge of divine Life, Truth and Love expressed by others. This proposal is a simplification of her demonstration of Life, Truth and Love that evolved over many years.

Objectives of Truth and Love

• To develop an increasing understanding of divine Truth and Love.
• To demonstrate Truth and Love in daily thought and action.
• To raise awareness of Truth and Love nationwide.

Strategies to Promote Understanding

• Selection of biblical verses defining and demonstrating Truth and Love.
• Develop ways to live Love in daily experiences and operations.
• Prove daily the difference between human truth and divine Truth.
• Compare ways Jesus used Truth to heal diseases with the way mankind heals diseases today.
• Discover why mankind cannot heal as Jesus and many prophets did.
• Explore ways that increase understanding of truth seen with the physical senses and truth seen with the spiritual senses. They are in opposition to each other.
• Define unconditional Love and how one arrives at expressing it.

Application of Truth and Love

• Read and ponder at least one biblical verse daily.
• Mentally refer to the verse(s) when faced with human challenges during the day.
• Listen for thoughts that express love when solving daily challenges and experiences.
• Ponder whether your solutions to daily challenges are derived humanly or divinely.
• Read and apply messages from hymns/songs that give a sense of peace about those challenges.
• When solving daily problems, ask yourself if what you are doing aligns itself with what God is doing.
• Discover what it means to be “made in the image and likeness of God.”
• Live your highest sense of that meaning each day and every day.
• Sponsor and administer programs that focus on Truth and Love.
• Bring in outside discussions, plays, videos and music programs that focus on Life, Truth and Love.
• Discover how is Life really defined?
• Develop sermons and classes that focus on living in “the image and likeness of God.”
• Seek to acquire an understanding that God only knows and supports goodness.
• Gain an increased understanding of what constitutes evil and guards against it.

Assessing Daily Progress

• Emphasize assessment is individual; it evaluates oneself in relation to God.
• Learn how Truth is an evaluation of what each person believes in comparison to what God directs.
• Measure your thoughts of someone else in relation to how it aligns with “love thy neighbor as thyself.”
• True judgment is based on God as Truth, Life and Love, never by human doubts, fears and ignorance.
