THREE GUESTS TO HELP YOU CONNECT
VERONICA HOOD – WILLIE ANDERSON – LEON WRIGHT
Veronica Hood is the Founder and Director of Ms. Black Fit and Fine, a pageant designed to promote the long-term benefits of developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This pageant provides a platform to showcase African American women, age 50 and over, who have embraced the concept of maintaining not only a fit and healthy body, but also a healthy mind, and serve as role models for other women. She is also the owner of the popular, upscale clothing Roloni’s Boutique in Southfield, Michigan. When Ms. Veronica is not responding to the “tasks” of planning and directing the “ladies of the pageant” and management of her business, she “delights,” is spreading joy and humor to uplift those around her.
Willie Anderson has several professions under his belt: engineer, teacher and attorney. He practiced law and was an educator for several years, but later transformed himself into a chemical engineer, landing a job with the State of Wisconsin. After retiring from his professional skill-sets, he moved to the State of Alabama, where he enjoys singing in the church choir, tutoring youngsters in mathematics, assisting them in establishing core values, and traveling the world. If you ask him, he will rattle-off several continents his feet have landed on. In fact, he was scheduled to “hop on” a plane to Africa in April, before Convid 19 brought traveling to a halt in March.
Colonel Leon Wright is a licensed radio DJ, so …”working the microphone” is not foreign to Mr. Wright. . . it’s returning to something he once knew and loved. That’s because his specialty is AIR STEM CAT Technology, serving as an information technology specialist for the United States Army. He is also a Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African-American and Caribbean-born military pilots who fought in World War II. They formed the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces, and performed many heroic missions. In the very near future, Colonel Wright will join EAMTRADIO as a DJ.
Tune-in to EAMTRADIO at 5 PM, Sunday, April 19, 2020 and hear these three guests on “Talk to the Author” with Dr. Mamie Smith share very helpful information on how they are maintaining their mental, emotional and physical well-being during CONVID 19. Their messages exemplify and radiate the lives they have lived, the faith they embrace and the experiences that made them who they are. You will identify with the simplistic, yet enlightening and inspiring stores. You will be inspired… we promise. See ya’ there!
