VOTE FOR HOPE
As a teenager growing up in the south, James Lewis recognized that reaching the voting booth was a vote for hope. Voting could change Jim Crow laws that dehumanized blacks and glorified whites. It was a broken system that had to be fixed, and voting would start the process.
WHAT DO WE HOPE FOR?
Hope means different things to different people. This article uses words like “trust in, wait for, look for,” or “desire something” to define hope. With that in mind, what are some of the things many Americans are hoping for?
Leadership — Moral Values — Justice Reform — Health & Wellness — Equality for All — Honesty — Immigration Reform — Economic Equality —– Old-Fashion Human Dignity

Several Constitutional Amendments address voting rights, but the 15th Amendment addresses color, race and servitude.
Amendment 15 – Race No Bar to Vote. Ratified 2/3/1870.
The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
If all Americans constitutionally have a right to vote, why are Republicans and the Trump Administration working so hard to keep people of color from voting? Well…they know they have not “served the people,” so they want to keep “power” by cheating. Sorry…we can’t let you do that! It’s illegal, immoral and just plain evil.
