For centuries, contributions African Americans made were erased from history. any blacks did not know the contributions and whites did not want to know. Today, we all must know even if some do not care to know. History tells who we are and what the future holds. Forgetting or pretending is not an option.

OFFERINGS OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

America is a diverse nation, made of immigrants seeking a better life. Originally, African Americans were brought to the country as slaves. This however, did not not negate their have the same intelligence and skill-sets as anyone else.

History explains where we have been, guides thought and action and takes us to the place we celebrate today. Our present state of thought is built on each idea, experience and action responded to in our “yesteryears,” and in order to progress in our “todays,” we must analyze the yesteryears mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. There are no short-cuts. We are . . . what we believe!
