“Taylor Swift is Hot” is a phrase that describes where she is in the music industry as well as her impact on the fashion world! Setting 2023 summer fashion trends were complimentary for some Taylor Swift observers but “raised eyebrows” for others. Even though this writer believes the image of an artist is essential to his or her ability to have “staying power,” this article will not “wade in” on either direction. As an old school classical singer taught that songs carry a message so enunciate well, my first reaction was “What is she saying?” Well . . . I had to get the lyrics to get the message! I found out; she was saying quite a bit!

“It Hits Different” shocks first-time lovers with the realization that caring deeply for another person, whether mother, father, sister, brother or lover, affects one unlike any other emotion. The hurt is constant, and the pain is deep. Shaking it off takes courage, empathy, strength and forgiveness. Without these components, you get nowhere. The best you receive, is burying it and focusing on “forgetting.” Eventually, forgetting sets in, and the pain lessens, but it does not dissipate. It becomes a “throb” which affects you in other ways. “Hits Different” means you can’t seem to get at the core of the relationship. You keep trying to face what it was, what it did and what you must do so “Movin’ on is easy to do.” In the end . . . do you make it?

What’s Going On in 2024?

Because so much is happening to Superstar Taylor Swift, it’s difficult to keep up. However, first and foremost, to “Swifties,” is her “romance” with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. According to research, the relationship has its “roots” in a podcast by Travis about the singer. The seeds were planted, and developed into what many refer to as “a couple.” Watching her as she “cheers him on” at football games, shows this writer what she feels seems “different.” Also, his support of her during concerts here and abroad, “hits different because it is (him).” Love is a beautiful thing when it “hits the same” for both individuals. Taylor and Travis seem to have it.

How does one define The Eras Tour? Well… an era is a period of time where particular events of development occurred. Taylor’s Eras Tour was “a journey through the musical eras of her career.” The first collective musical journey began in America, where she toured stadiums across the country. Then it expanded into 152 shows across five (5) continents. The music world has recorded the tour as “the highest grossing tour of music and film of all time.”
