Time(required)

GENERIC CONTRACT

This contract is legal and binding on both parties.

This contract does not include hiring the writer as a ghostwriter.

Goal:  This contract is an agreement between the undersigned (writer, client and any individual(s) requiring services in writing, researching, editing, developing or re-constructing essays, stories, recommendations or any other written document.  

The writer’s name will be listed on the title page or somewhere on the cover as a book/document as editor or co-author relative to the job performed.

Time Element:   Time varies depending on the amount, availability and type of documents desired. Two to three days weekly will be devoted to writing the manuscript until complete.

Method of Working Together: 

The client will provide detailed verbal and/or written information about the project so that the writer has an understanding and purpose of how it is to be accomplished.

Two distinct agreements are contained therein, each client will choose the one that best suits his/her needs.

Job #1—- Editing Only (Circle or Check Mark)

Escape Clause:    This is a personal service contract.  Although it is our mutual understanding at this date, we both recognize that the situation may change.  Therefore, this contract can be amended by mutual agreement or canceled by either party with a 14-day notice in writing.

Job#2—-Document Research, Editing, Corrections & Document Development and Re-Construction (Circle or Check Mark)

Escape Clause:    This is a personal service contract.  Although it is our mutual understanding at this date, we both recognize that the situation may change.  Therefore, this contract can be amended by mutual agreement or canceled by either party with a 14-day notice in writing.

Payment will be made to the writer’s PayPal account before each chapter begins.  A receipt will be sent to the client via PayPal at the time of payment.

Your typed name will be considered a legal signature if emailed.

EDITING CONTRACT

This contract is legal and binding on both parties.

This contract does not include hiring the writer as a ghostwriter.

Goal:  This contract is an agreement between the undersigned (writer, client and any individual(s) requiring services in writing, researching, editing, developing or re-constructing essays, stories, recommendations or any other written document.  

The writer’s name will be listed on the title page or somewhere on the cover of the book as editor relative to the job performed.

Time Element:   Time varies depending on the amount, availability and type of documents desired. Two to three days weekly will be devoted to writing the manuscript until complete.

Method of Working Together:

Telephone or Face-to-Face Direction and Clarification

Client will provide ALL written material for editing.  Editing by the writer will include spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax.

Cost:  Seven Cents ($.07) per word.  Word count is determined by the client document.

One chapter at a time will be presented to the client for approval before the writer begins another chapter.

Client may ask for a one-time re-write of specific elements of the document without additional costs.  Further re-writes will cost $0.06 per word.  Client must be specific about what is desired relative to any re-write element.

The writer will edit, correct, re-construct, develop and research additional information deemed necessary for clarity of the document.

 Editing by the writer will include spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax.

 Cost: EIGHT CENTS ($0.8) Per Word.  Word Count Determined by Client Document.
