Veronica Hood is the Founder and Director of Ms. Black Fit and Fine, a pageant designed to promote the long-term benefits of developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This pageant provides a platform to showcase African American women, age 50 and over, who have embraced the concept of maintaining not only a fit and healthy body, but also a healthy mind, and serve as role models for other women.

Willie Anderson has several professions under his belt: engineer, teacher and attorney. He practiced law and was an educator for several years, but later transformed himself into a chemical engineer, landing a job with the State of Wisconsin. After retiring from his professional skill-sets, he moved to the State of Alabama, where he enjoys singing in the church choir, tutoring youngsters in mathematics, assisting them in establishing core values, and traveling the world.

Colonel Leon Wright is a licensed radio DJ, so …”working the microphone” is not foreign to Mr. Wright. . . it’s returning to something he once knew and loved.  That’s because his specialty is AIR STEM CAT Technology, serving as an information technology specialist for the United States Army. He is also a Tuskegee Airmen. Radio is his pathway to maintain mental health.
