Duane Parham is a saxophonist from Detroit, Michigan. Known for his exceptional contributions to Smooth Jazz, RnB and Gospel music throughout his fifty-year-career, Parham is heralded as one of Detroit’s most popular jazz musicians. Today, we are excited to share our thoughts on Duane’s latest single, “My Turn!”

A smooth and deeply enjoyable experience, My Turn provides a jazzy listening experience with a “bouncy delivery.” The track as a whole, has a warm and “fuzzy” feeling, giving off good vibes to listeners. Unsurprisingly, My Turn’s “star of the show ” is the performance from Saxophonist Duane Parham; his melodic choices reflect a soulful approach that I found to be both engaging and emotive. This song’s bright overall nature gives it crossover appeal I think will play well with audiences who may listen to little, or no smooth jazz music.
