THE PATH OF AN ARTIST

Whether it was musicianship or visual arts that led you to become an artist, the motivation usually stems from a desire to perfect your skill-set and share it . . . hopefully, with the world. As an adolescent, David Smith chose both music and visual arts, and for several years, expressed his artistry with a pencil drawing visual images and his fingers playing the piano or strumming a guitar. At that time, he was not pursuing the path of an artist. But, the pencil finally won him over, but his love for performing music never ceased. AUTOMOTIVE DESIGNER MANAGER MUSICIAN

David worked at two of the greatest automotive companies in the world (GM & Chrysler), designed interiors of airplanes . . . find out who that was. . . became manager of a major brand of one of those companies and still . . .played with a local rock band. Hear what he did, how he did it and how his world perhaps expanded into your world. Later…he added truck designer to his repertoire.

WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES A…WHAT?

NAH-AAH! He didn’t design that two-wheeler . . . he’s just having fun on it. You know, “all work and no play makes a dull person,” David is not dull. Also, just because he didn’t design the “cycle” above, does not mean he can’t. Give him a minute … and he will.
