Wake-up America! Everyone loses without democracy! Why are people sounding the alarm? Because as important as the economy is, if we have a dictator or aristocracy making decisions, (which is where many minds are today) it will not matter. Only one person or a small group of people will control everything and everyone! You, the people, will have no voice. Remember Hitler . . .

If you are thinking that this article is bordering on extremism. . . the above picture should remind you that it is not. Reflection on how Hitler rose to power, parallels much of what is seen in America today. Hitler was influenced by the dictator Mussolini. One can truthfully say he was radicalized by him. Today, one-third of Americans are influenced (radicalized) by Trump.

Hitler Gains Power

In 1921, Hitler became chairman of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Under his tutelage, the Party garnered millions of followers. Consequently, in 1923, he staged a coup to overthrow the current government. (The January 6th Committee says Trump staged a coup in 2021 to remain in power). After a 5-month jail sentence, Hitler continued with his speeches and ideology until he became leader of Nazi, Germany. History records that millions of Jews were murdered under his regime, Germans had no voice and Adolf began his journey to control the world. He failed because democratic governments worldwide stopped him.

Tea Party Democracy in America

Many false prophets shall rise and deceive many (Matt. 24: 11).

America’s influence on workers began with the Tea Party in 2009. It claimed an agenda that advocated lower taxes and opposition to universal healthcare. But in fact, the Party opposed any agenda supported by the administration of the first African American President: Barack H. Obama. Many black Americans viewed their ideology as racist. By 2016, the Republican Party had latched on to that ideology and expanded it with the election of Donald Trump as president.

Trump Administration: Everyone Loses without Democracy

With the election of Donald J. Trump, democracy was at a standstill. Even many supporters in his administration could see everyone loses without democracy. That is, everyone except the former President. His administration was saturated with chaos, hate, racism, lawlessness and verbal abuse of anyone who did not agree with him. Over a million Americans died (from Covid 19) because of his incompetency in running the country. Did Republicans desert him? No! Those who shared his “nonsense,” used their own insecurities, thirst for power and hatred to rally him on. That support has led us to where we are today.

A Nation Divided by Democracy and Aristocracy

“A house divided cannot stand.”

More than anyone else in Congress, Representative Kevin McCarthy and Senator Mitch McConnell have prevented the progress of democratic principles in America. Twice, both men refused to lead their respective members in impeaching President Trump. They support ideologies and policies that aid the rich, reduce civil rights, human rights and allow guns to accumulate to astronomical levels. It is their policies which have contributed to the continuance of mass murders and crime in America. But lies and accusations make them blame Democrats. Seventy percent of the country knows Republicans strangled legislation that would have taken military-style weapons off the streets and 18-year-olds from being able to purchase any gun of choice. Babies die, but Republicans close their eyes and refuse to budge.

Most mid-term Republican candidates have extreme ideologies and policies that suggest dictatorship and aristocracy. These men either support them or remain silent. Both responses advocate “everyone loses without democracy.”

We the People Ensure Democracy

THE PREAMBLE: We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

As we listen to Republican leaders and candidates, this writer sees our democracy at risk. Why? The Republican Party and President Trump created, planned and carried out the insurrection. President Trump stole documents, lied about it and possibly jeopardized the country’s security! A Republican Supreme Court robbed women of “the right to choose” how their bodies will be treated and weakened civil rights for black and brown people.

Never in my lifetime had I witnessed congressional leaders supporting violence and promoting criminal activities until now! Hear me…our country is at risk! Stop holding on to your grievances and realize where the country is headed! If Republicans win in November, you may win the battle … but the country will lose the war!

EVERYONE LOSES without DEMOCRACY

If you are one of those people running around with greed, control, hate and discrimination in your heart, think about what you will lose if we lose democracy. Today, “We the people “can vote people in and vote people out. Lose democracy…you lose that! The Constitution allows us to choose presidents…vote in a dictator and you will lose that! If you think Trump is in your corner…you are wrong…he is only in his corner. You only matter if you aid him in ruling America. No one is special! We are all pawns in a game of chess! Working together, we can let freedom ring! Separation keeps us fighting each other! Remember. . .everyone loses without democracy!
